Job Description

– Main focus is on managing laptop/desktops and printers only.
– Good knowledge of windows.
– Need to follow guideline of company’s software policy and ensure only permitted software/applications are installed inside laptop/desktop, Any special request must be approved by Asia Support.
– Ensure only legal software are downloaded or else need approval for special case from Regional IT Team.
– Basic Lotus Notes support
– Manage all Level 1 support call and report weekly to Regional IT team for the same, escalate the issue to Level 2 -> IT Regional team and act as an co-ordinator to ensure case has been closed
– Manage proper Asset list containing IT Asset purchase date/model/user and expiry of maintenance period, Along with software installed for every laptop/desktop.
– Act as an site IT Co-Ordinator for Level 2 issues (Network/Server).

Normally contract would include :
– Either weekly/bi-weekly schedule visit to Site.
– Some adhoc hours either via phone or visit on top of schedule visit.
– Total #Users and entity address that are supposed to be supported.
– Ensure installation of new laptop/desktop as per company’s guideline and make them join domain
– Co-ordinator for Level 2 activities (Those related with network and server issues)
